Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the supervision of the Dean of the Technical Management Institute/Nineveh, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Ghanem Ayoub, and in cooperation with the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at the University Presidency, and as part of the quality assurance activities for the academic year 2025-2026, the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division at the Institute, in cooperation with the Materials Management Technology Department, held a workshop entitled:

The workshop addressed the concept of integration between sustainable development and quality assurance systems as one of the modern trends in institutional management. It aimed to demonstrate how to integrate environmental, social, and economic sustainability principles within quality systems to enhance performance and achieve institutional excellence according to international models such as EFQM. The workshop highlighted the importance of developing management systems capable of achieving continuous quality while simultaneously addressing sustainability requirements. This is accomplished through process improvement, waste reduction, enhancing the value of services provided to beneficiaries, and strengthening the role of institutions towards society and the environment.
